The Library posts all open jobs on the website, in the Library; Full-time positions will be posted in the Bourbon County Citizen and will be listed on the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives website. Other posting options for full-time employment will be used when deemed applicable.
You may fill out a part-time application for employment at any time. See a circulation staff member for assistance. All applications received will be kept on file until the next part-time job becomes available. At this point, your application will automatically be added to the pool.
Applications for full-time employment are only accepted during the announced period. No resumes or other supporting information will be kept on file between openings.
How to find out about job openings at the Library:
When openings occur, we always post on our web site and in-house. For full-time jobs, we will post in the local newspaper and on the Kentucky Department for Library and Archives website. We may opt to post in additional locations as well.
For part-time employment, feel free to fill out at application at any time. Your application will be kept on file for six months. If a position becomes available during this time, your application will be added to the pool. You can obtain a job application from the Library circulation desk.
For full-time employment, application packets are only accepted during the submission phase which is defined in the position advertisement.
