Each year the Paris-Bourbon County Library participates in the national Summer Reading Program, creating opportunities for people of all ages to read for simple joy and pleasure over the summer. School age children receive the added benefit of keeping skills learned over the prior school year active and thereby avoiding the summer slide, which is a tendency for students to lose skills learned in school.
The Library’s summer reading program has ended for 2016.
The theme for the 2017 summer reading program is Architecture, Building, Construction and promises to create many good times and memories.
Calendars and descriptions of activities will be posted as they become available
