Residents of Bourbon and
surrounding counties are eligible for a free library card. Photo
identification and proof of
mailing address are required. Card application forms are available
at both circulation desks.
Children and teens (age 17 and
under) must bring a parent or guardian to sign the card application
in person. Permission for a child to have his or her own card
includes permission to use any and all books in the library, as well
as access to the Internet using library computers. Videos may be
checked out ONLY by adults.
(Internet content is NOT
currently filtered by the library. If you have concerns in this
area, please contact our Library Director.)
Parents are always welcome and
encouraged to supervise their children's selections and computer use at the library.
Please remember that such supervision is not the responsibility of
library staff. If you have any questions or concerns in this regard,
please contact our
Children's Librarian.
There is a fee of $5.00 for
replacing lost cards for adults. There is no charge to replace a
child's card, but a legal parent or guardian must come in person
with the child to request a replacement card.
