Friends of the Library
Paris-Bourbon County Library is fortunate to enjoy the support of an active Friends group.
The Friends of the Paris-Bourbon County Library is non-profit organization dedicated to helping make library services accessible to the surrounding community with funds generated by book sales, donations, membership fees, and gifts. The money raised helps support programs and speakers, staff development activities, and purchase of books and equipment for special programs.
Friends’ Book Sales
The Friends of the Paris-Bourbon County Library have large book sales several times a year, and maintain a book sale cart on the first floor of the library. Hardback books, audio CDs, DVDs and other media cost $1.00 and paperbacks are just $.25. Donated materials are always welcome! If you need help with donation boxes, please call the library in advance to request assistance.
The Friends are always looking for volunteers to assist with their many activities. Friends members receive discounts and early access to book sales.
