Interested in serving as a Trustee of the Paris-Bourbon County Public Library Board?
The Paris-Bourbon County Library’s Board of Trustees will have two upcoming vacancies for which they are accepting applications. The Library is seeking to identify dedicated individuals who have a passion for libraries and the ability to effectively advocate for them. The Board of Trustees is responsible for establishing policy, approving the budget, and ensuring that adequate funds are available to finance the budget. The Board oversees the library’s finances and the library director and is responsible for understanding and supporting the library’s mission, programs and services delivered to the community. This is a volunteer position and applicants must be a resident of Bourbon County. Interested individuals must attend an informational session to be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 6:00pm at the Library, 701 High Street, in Paris. Applications are available at the library or online at www.bourbonlibrary.org.
