Friends of the Library
Paris-Bourbon County Library is fortunate to enjoy the support of an active Friends group.
The Friends of the Paris-Bourbon County Library is non-profit organization dedicated to helping make library services accessible to the surrounding community with funds generated by book sales, donations, membership fees, and gifts. The money raised helps support programs and speakers, staff development activities, and purchase of books and equipment for special programs such as the Summer Reading Program.
Friends’ Bookstore
The Friends of the Paris-Bourbon County Library runs a bookstore right next to the Library at 721 High Street. They are open Thursdays and Fridays from 10am-4pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm.
Donated materials are always welcome! If you need help with donation boxes, please call the library in advance to request assistance.
The Friends are always looking for volunteers to assist with their many activities. Friends members receive discounts and early access to book sales.
For more information, to join, or to volunteer, visit the Friends of the Paris-Bourbon County Library’s Facebook page, or contact Liza Levy at (859) 953-1667.
